Aether Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Aether ("we", "us") is a personal task orchestrator that reads signals you connect — tasks you create, and optionally your Google Calendar and Gmail — to help you plan your day. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

We use your data solely to power Aether's features: extracting and prioritizing tasks, and generating daily plans. To do this, task and calendar/email-derived content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing (e.g. deciding task priority, summarizing a day's plan). Anthropic processes this data under their own API terms and does not use API inputs to train their models by default.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Google user data ("Limited Use")

Aether's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs (Calendar and Gmail) to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

4. Your controls

5. Data retention

Tasks, memories, and agent run logs persist until you delete them or delete your account. Raw email bodies are never stored — only the extracted task and a short summary. Calendar events are re-synced (not accumulated indefinitely); disconnecting Calendar stops future syncs but doesn't retroactively delete already-created tasks.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by our database and hosting providers. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate the service.

7. Children's privacy

Aether is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Aether after a change means you accept the updated policy.
